English is the entire world’s universal language. It is the most common language spoken by native tongues or by those who use it as their second language. A recent published statistical data found that as of the year 2022, there are around 1.5 billion people all over the world who speaks English natively or as a second language. In 2022, the United States Census Bureau released information that the projected population of the human race in the entire world is 7,868,872,451. For emphasis, 1.5 billion out of the 7.8 billion speaks English. Can you image how many people in different countries across the globe would be able to understand you if you can speak the language?

For a clearer perspective, there are more than 100 countries with actual human beings who can understand you if you’re speaking in English. This will come in really handy especially if you’re a traveler or if you’re suddenly assigned in a random country across the seven oceans.

For instance, the Philippines is an archipelago that’s about approximately 2 hours from Hong Kong.
